Practice management gone wrong. The physicians at this location have been wonderful. The office staff have now taken it too far. Our family has been established with Inwood Village pediatrics for 15 years. Our second pediatrician left over a year ago and our son is at an age where there is no need to go in- no new vaccines and he hasn't been sick. Today he was finally sick and needed care. I am very disappointed with the billing management at this clinic. I paid $200 in cash on December 8, 2023, and their own ledger shows that the payment was reversed on December 27, 2023 without any refund or re-application. I also have a handwritten note signed by the office on August 28, 2024 confirming that my account had a $140 credit, yet the billing department has ignored multiple emails and requests to correct this. Most appalling experience today at Inwood village pediatrics. This is NOT a review of Dr. Hamner who we love (5 * for her). This is about their receptionist staff and office manager. Without mentioning medical details about my child, I will say that I was quite frustrated when I could not get my child seen before going into a 3 day weekend and was told by them to “just go to urgent care” -it was late around 4 on a Friday. This practice is awesome! They have kind empathetic pediatricians that give practical advice in laymen’s terms. Nice for people like me that know nothing about medicine. I really appreciate the quality of care that my children have received. Due to the unpredictable nature of kid’s illness we have seen many of the providers here. The MDs and PAs that work at Inwood Village are clearly very well educated and trained .
