The usual LEYE characteristics, great atmosphere, staff and concept. Chef CJ seems like a real down to earth guy and probably a great chef, but I feel that the ingredients and flavor profiles that he uses have a very limited customer base. The supplemental dish of grits and popcorn was our favorite dish of the night. Definitely worth a try for anyone who is a LEYE fan or a Top Chef fan, but I'll pay the extra few dollars to eat at TRU.
We had a great time! Food was great, service was great, and what we loved the most was how visible Chef CJ was and that he even helped explain the food being served! The non alcoholic pairing was a nice addition! Highly recommended!
