The hotel is comparable to many hotels in Europe catering to the traveler who does not wish to spend lots of time in the room, but who wants to have a safe,clean, moderately inexpensive place to stay. It was clean, comfortable, and basic.

Great Hotel! – The hotel is so central, to me it was a classic american hotel. Our room was simply, tastfully decorated and clean. cleaned everyday, new towels, new toiletries. fridge for any drinks or food we brought in.
Pleasantly Surprised – I was pleasantly surprised to find the hotel at the hub of NYC, beautiful large lobby, smooth check in and helpful staff. The room was cleaned evryday with fresh sheets and towels. The room was also spacious compared to other rooms I viewed. I got a cheap rate for this hotel.
No Complaints – The penn hotel isn't as bad as the negative reviews have reported. my boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for 4 days and 3 nights and we did not have any complaint when we checked out. The room was cozy and all that is needed in NYC.
Real pleasure to stay at! – We're pleased to report that we found Hotel Pennsylvania a real pleasure to stay at! The location was ideal. It's across the road from Penn Station and very near the Metro, 10 mins walk from Times Square and 5 mins from the Empire State Building.

Excellent!! – The staff was very nice and accomodating. The location is excellent!
Best choice! – This was the best choice I ever made in hotels. We were upgraded to a bigger room for free. Everyone was very friendly. The rooms were spacious. We had no problem with the TV for as little as we used it. Very conveniently located next to Penn Station, several subway lines, Macy's, the Empire State Building, the Theater District. For $4 we could leave our bags after we checked out so we wouldn't have to drag them all over the city with us. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Pros: Great service, ... read more
