Claims processing is SO SLOW! Over three months now... Don't get this if you need reimbursement in a timely, professional manner. Also, I had requested coverage for in-country care at the end of our time overseas, but when I called to find an in-network provider, they said I wasn't covered in-country, until I found the name of the person who emailed me about it, and only then did they tick some box to say I had in-country coverage. Horrible service. Claim has been denied saying doctor's information should be presented. But, according to IMG, I cannot send them documents (besides the fact that they don't even say what they want) and that THEY (IMG) must do the request. Problem is that they HAVE NOT CONTACTED the doctor. Escalated the problem but now I get no feedback.

Please do not buy visitors insurance from them. A complete SCAM my almost $1000 got wasted. I have asked them to cancel my policy and lets see if they will refund anything. I think not I wish I could give 0 stars. Tried to reach customer service waited for 20 mins 2 time then they hung up on me. They have provider listed in their website and then you go to the provider then they wont accept their insurance. Please please do not waste money on them. This insurance is not accepted at any medical center in Merida, Mexico.(Their providers) We filled a claim in May and it was denied in Sept. Thanks for no reimbursement, a waste of money. And yes I will be leaving poor reviews.

I wish I would have looked for reviews before purchasing a plan with IMG. This company is horrible, in the beginning I thought there were just amateurs but now I realise they are deliberately corrupt. They try everything to not pay out. First the itemised bill was not complete, I fixed that with the clinic (not them!), later the medical reports were "missing" although they had been sent twice already. I purchased this insurance for my wife and myself, and even emergencies they denied them, arguing they were pre-existing conditions. Every single one of our claims was denied. Not one they approved, after I paid almost $3,000 in advance for the insurance policy. Now I am on collection for $8,500, not knowing when i went to the hospital, that IMG would never honor those bills. A COMPLETE SCAM

My policy: zero deductible, no copay. Saw a doctor in August and in September 2018, still no claim payment. I paid cash and provided all necessary proofs, codes, itemised bill etc. Now in January the claim is marked "processed" in the online system, "total covered: 0". So I call IMG (again) to see what's happening. "Well, it's not really processed yet, but we need medical records and do not have the fax number of the provider". Seriously? How about looking it up? I have used Img global on three trips to Europe, but on the last trip I had a incident. In France, fainted twice in two days. First trip in a ambulance in my life. I was on no meds And had never fainted. This was a week in a hospital for observation and a cath insertion. No actual reason given, but the Chief of Cardiology who was my doctor stated it was not from a pre existing condition, in writing. Img just denied me after 10 weeks.
