Buyers beware! This company is a complete rip-off. No mail, email, or phone call from this insurance provider because they will not pay anything whatsoever. Awful. IMG does not honor its contracts. Stay away from them! Last November 2019, I bought a travel insurance policy (inclusive of the Cancel-Any-Reason clause) from IMG through InsureMyTrip.com for a trip with my wife to Italy, scheduled for June 2020. Given the Covid-19 situation (my wife has a lung problem), I canceled the trip in April and filed the claim complete of the medical justification form completed by our doctor. I have purchased the insurance since november 2019 for my mother in law and when we went to doctor and she was diagnosed with arthritis so they have considered it as pre-existing condition as left me to pay a big amount of $688. That too the doctor's office has re-filled the claim stating that its a new condition but no response. No customer service waiting in long call queues , I would definitely not recommend this insurance and also will raise dispute in the claim.

I was with International Medical Group from August 2018 through December 2019. I was diagnosed with lung cancer in October of 2019. They refused to pay any bills related to cancer, claiming it was preexisting. I filed an appeal with them with a letter from my doctor confirming there is no research able to accurately prove when cancer starts. They rejected my appeal.
This company appears to be fraudulent. They simply do not pay legitimate claims. You should buy you insurance somewhere else.

On paper, International Medical Group and iTravelInsured offer a good product at a reasonable cost. However, their claims process is one defined my delay, dishonesty, and obfuscation. Policy language is misapplied. Policy definition is misconstrued. Policy requirement is ignored. My claim was partially denied based on their team's misunderstanding of the product and their misreading of Policy definition. Please do not buy from IMG - Patriot America Plus insurance. They denied all claims even though it was an emergency admission and the insurance included coverage for acute onset of pre-existing conditions. When will the Insurance commissioner look into this FRAUD? If you have parents visiting from our of the country, be warned! Visitors insurance is a SCAM!

THIS IS NOT AN ACTUAL COMPANY. They have never provided coverage for anyone, ever. No amount of research can turn up a single example. This business made it's profit off of me by collecting my premium and not providing service. I filed a claim while on vacation.
