She is The Worst doctor in the Tampa area. The poor staff doc is in a rush and never gives the patient the care and time to answer their questions. She is looking at it as a business-flipping customer. Dr Herweg is awesome doctor he explains everything that’s going actually listens to you and tells you what exactly what needs to be done to fix the problem. I’m a former patient of the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland Ohio and since I’ve moved to Florida and became a patient of Tampa General I feel a lot better and being a patient of DR Herweg and Dr Makie I must say im feeling way physically and mentally. Very personable listens and genuinely cares about his patients. Has wealth of knowledge and relates to my concerns. Very happy to be his new patient.
At 47 I was told I needed a heart transplant. Very scary! Was refered to Dr Berman and so happy I was. He explained my condition until I understood what was going on. Changed my medicines and order tests and refered me to other doctors to explore options in specific areas of the heart. My heart function has improved 35%. Without a transplant. Thank you Dr Berman and staff
He follows up my husband lung cancer after surgery, you can’t count with his expertise. He is never in the rush

Dr. Herwerg replaced my pacemaker and did synchronization adding a defibrillator line. Knowledgeable, certainly professional. He is a straightforward doctor with excellent skill. I am grateful for his work.
Dr. Herweg and team have taken care of me for many years. I totally trust them and the fact they are 'straight-shooters' and tell me exactly my status, etc. If you have electrically issues with your heart, I don't think you can find a better place to go.
