The food was delicious! Service was very good.
Loved the hip atmosphere and great service. Food was delicious and wine, fabulous!
The Niçoise Salad and Chicken and Waffles were excellent. Great beer and wine selection too. A new favorite in Ely!

I’m back in the Ely area now as a seasonal resident. I plan on visiting every eating establishment in search of Ely’s best Rueben. Yesterday I had one at the Insula, and think I might have already found the best. In house made corned beef piled high on dark rye with sour krout, Swiss cheese, and 1000 island dressing. I may be bold enough to say this was my number 2 Rueben of all time. And believe me, this 59 y/o has a lot of Ruebens on my resume!!! 10 out of 10 stars to the Insula for a wonderful sandwich...
Good service and great food, Insula is another reason I love to visit Ely.
I have eaten out more in the past 3 years (almost, since they opened) than in the previous 30 years put together!! The food, service and excellence make me SO happy!! Love me some Insula!! ❤️❤️❤️
