My daughter had emergency surgery for a hip infection a couple of weeks ago. Everyone from the ED doc, surgeon, MRI team, infectious disease doc, nurses (especially our night nurse!) and rest of the medical team worked incredibly quickly to catch and treat the infection and provided top-notch care. Thanks to them, the infection was caught very early, she received great treatment and had a super-fast recovery. Thank you!!
We were admitted for 3 days due to breathing difficulties. All the staff were so knowledgeable and helpful. I especially appreciated our ED doctor, Dr Day and our IMC night nurse, Liz. They went above and beyond to ensure our daughter was cared for and felt as comfortable as possible.
We have been three times for my 3.5 year old. Typically once a year for respiratory infections and each time we’ve had nothing but compassionate, attentive and knowledgeable nurses, doctors and staff. While I wish we never had to go, I’m so incredibly thankful for this hospital and their helping and healing hands. They provide a much needed relief for any parent who is already worried about their child.
Such an incredible hospital. The doctors & nurses made us feel like my granddaughter was the only patient there. The hospital was clean, staff was efficient, the bedside manner & customer service was excellent. Even the cafeteria was excellently organized and the food was great. So happy my son was transferred to Inova Children’s Hospital. The 9th floor Doctors, nurses, and techs were amazing. They were so kind and so sweet to my infant. They never needed to be tracked down or reminded that he needed Tylenol. They were always prepared and came back quickly if we asked for anything. I never felt like we were forgotten about. Every single time anybody left the room they asked if we needed anything. Thank you 9th Floor Team for helping my baby boy get well! You all rock!
