Inova Alexandria is horrible! My husband HUSBAND was brought in with chest pains and shortness of breath. They proceed to tell me that I can’t go back with him because of COVID-19. F* COVID-19!!!! My HUSBAND IS BACK THERE WITH REPORTED SHORTNESS OF BREATH AND CHEST PAINS!!!! How do you tell his WIFE that visiting hours end at 10pm?! I’m not here for a freaking visit! This hospital employs out of network providers. As a result, an emergency visit can cost you far more than you anticipate. The doctor billed $1500 for ten mediocre minutes (after a four hour wait) when I took a loved one in experiencing a mental health crisis. He did no more than interpret blood work that wasn’t discussed ahead of time, and then informed us he wasn’t a mental health professional so had to refer us to someone else. 😡 Unconscionable, unethical, and immoral.
