The service at this location exceeded my expectations. They upgraded me twice.
I have stayed here several times over the past 10+ years. It is always amazing. Like being inside a hug. The decor is phenomenal. Top notch. The food is equal to the decor. Wonderful all around. Whether it coincides with the special times I have spent there or not, my sisters wedding, my reunion with law school girl friends, my birthday, I will always have warm and fuzzy feelings about this place and hope they are always there! For a special time with friends or a romantic get away this is a great choice.

We had a wonderful time here. I read the reviews before I picked this place out as a surprise for my wife on our trip to C'ville. 99% of the reviews are excellent and the rest can be distilled down to people who want everything perfect. It's a very old home and if you have stayed in these across Virginia, you know they are going to creak and that sound travels. I have to say that we love these old homes and can also say that it is a very quiet place a couple of blocks from the mall. Highly recommend!!

What an amazing place! Candace, Jessie & Didi are accommodating, courteous hosts who make you feel right at home. Awesome location, beautifully appointed and unique rooms, complimentary glass of wine in the evening and delicious breakfast. We were there for our first anniversary and already cannot wait to go back!
