Situated at the heart of the city, Court Square is one of the most significant squares in the city. A site soaked in history, the square is peppered with several vintage brick and stone structures, including the Levy Opera House, the city hall and the Eagle Tavern. Also within the square is the former slave block, an eerie site which was once used to auction slaves. Owing to its historical significance, numerous walking tours and historic are conducted at this location.

I was beyond impressed with The Inn at Court Square. We will definitely return! So charming, quaint, and comfortable!! The owner has outdone herself with this amazing little secret. I’m so glad we got to experience this place!!
My wife and I were thoroughly impressed with our stay at The Inn at Court Square. From the minute we entered the door, we were greeted with warm welcomes, tasty homemade cookies, and beautiful ambiance. The rooms were large and uniquely decorated to a style of the late 1700's and early-1800's. Additionally, the breakfast was fantastic! The location was close to both the historic district and shopping areas. There are some great coffee shops and restaurants within easy walking distance of the Inn. Candace and Michael are fabulous!!!!
Staying at The Inn at Court Square made our 4 night girl’s trip extra special! From the delicious breakfast in a beautifully decorated room to pre-dinner wine on the porch and private sitting area for laughs after dinner in town - we are so blessed to have found this B&B. Candace and Michael are wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcomed. Candace has truly thought of every detail for her guests - I can’t wait to go back!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Inn. The historic Inn was gorgeous, the breakfast delicious and the service, 5 star.
Wonderful B and B! Rooms are spacious, and beautifully decorated. The Inn, built in the 1700s has been lovingly restored by the gracious innkeeper, Candace. It is located in the historic district a short 2 min walk to the pedestrian mall. The breakfast was divine! Will happily stay again and highly recommend the Inn
We just spent one night at the Inn at Court Square for the first time during the Independence Day weekend on our way to Montecello. The Inn was absolutely great on every level. Candace was a gracious host and Pat, the pastry chef, made an incredible breakfast! Our room was large, quite and felt like home. The entire Inn is well decorated, comfortable and extremely well located just two blocks from the main walking street and directly across from the county courthouse and housed in a fully renovated colonial era townhouse.
