The lifeguards were all in a huddle not paying attention to anything.
RecommendedTook the kids to opening day at the newly updated Indy Island today! We had a blast! Job well done to the staff and lifeguards. We felt safe and that our kids were well watched by the lifeguards in addition to us. We will definitely be back soon!

I am really disgusted that the manager of Indy Island sold me a summer fun pass and allowed me to put $75 on it two weeks before you closed and NEVER 1 time mentioned that your pool was closing for the summer and she even went on to tell me I could use it at Garfield Park when it opened in May- ya well that didn’t happen either! So I have a useless card with $75 dollars on it and 3 disappointed kids who are ready to go swimming with no place to go! Oh and Perry Parks pool is broken and closed as well!!

We went to swim this past weekend, and while the price was good, I guess you get what you pay for. There were specks of rust all over the pool floor from the pipes and structures. While we were there, they had everyone get out of the pools and a lifeguard went and got the net to fish something out of the water. I still have no idea what they had to get out, but when he grabbed the net, there was still a bunch of debris in it from the last few times they had to use it. Not just wrappers, but bandaids. I took my 8 month old daughter and little cousins ages 5 to 11 here for a little get away. They loved it! The equipment looked as though it could use some updating. The paint was chipping off the ladder to the large slide, and the pipes supplying the water fall things in the kids pool were rusty.( looks like it could be a liability risk for the facility).
