We wanted to relax and have a nice dinner before going to our Motel. As we sat there other families were in the restaurant/ lounge and the parents allowed their kids to rollerblade around us as we and other guests were trying to have dinner. As a parent I find it rude and realize it's a family hotel as well but come on get real people.
Excellent staff and establishment!!! The gift shop and lounge was fantastic too...we will swim in the pool again in January!!! Loved it!!!!
The staff were very pleasant, the room was fair. The food was decent & the rates were good. Unfortunately there was a loud clanking & ticking noise in the ceiling & wall that went on periodically all night making it almost impossible to sleep which is the most important requirement in a hotel. We only stayed one night & did not realize how loud & frequent it was until we were trying to go to sleep so we did not address it with the staff. I think it could have been the pipes or the heating system. We were on the top floor.
So much to do at the resort and such beautiful views everywhere you look!
My stay was Thanks Giving Eve for 2 days, which was a package deal for room, meals and Rocks Estate tree harvesting. Made the reservations months ahead. Verified the reservation and details the day before all was in line. Showed up and .....just a joke....someone who didn't work their anymore made the reservation and they just were not going to honor the details...they told us meals were not included...and actually charged us for this when we never got it...had to have management correct it. The place was as advertised. We went as a group on a bus trip to stay for 2 nights. The food was good and plentiful and lots of entertainers which were enjoyable. Very professional and extremely friendly. Extremely friendly staff and so polite. Wonderful enjoyable time.
