Absolutely worth it. The peace of mind I get knowing Dr. Derek knows my daughter and we aren’t just another number is worth far more than we pay. He’s honest, compassionate, and wonderful at what he does. Couldn’t recommend him enough.
Great doctor, takes his time to listen and answer any questions you have! Would highly recommend to any family looking for a great pediatrician that seems like he truly cares for his patients. Thankful to have him in our area!

Dr. Husmann was fantastic with my 3-year-old granddaughter! This is the second time he has come through in an emergency when my granddaughter became ill while visiting me. Her parents are so impressed and thankful for his availability and timely care.
We took our daughter to see Dr. Derek at InDependence Pediatrics and were very pleased. Dr. Derek is patient, thorough and listens well. He asked many questions to better understand our concerns for our daughter and gave us guidance for next steps in her treatment plan. We highly recommend Dr. Derek for your children's healthcare!
