You'd never know you weren't downtown. Tasty Italian cuisine! The lounge/pool room upstairs is fantastic - you'd never know you weren't in downtown Boston!
3 star food at 5 star prices. I wanted this to be a great experience. But my husband and I were both left feeling sort of disappointed after our visit. The food was ok, but we wanted it to be excellent.
Great building and location... Other than that, very expensive and poor quality food... I was there on Dec 20th with a party of 6 for my grand-daughter's birthday. All the main dishes (1 arugula chicken salad, 1 risotto of the day, 1 pizza, 1 pam chicken and 1 steak tips) were tasteless and poorly presented, 2 very small cup cake for $18.00 and considering we consumed only 2 wines and one coke, our bill came to $207.58 + 20% tip.... Such a shame, great building but really poor service, would absolutely not go back with so many good options at better value near. They feel entitled to your business.
It's a shame that such a great atmosphere is marred by the poor service and rude personnel. The owners need to manage staff attitude. I was a local regular but consistent poor service changed that. Find a more customer friendly restaurant. There are plenty in the area.
Pleasanly surprised – I was nervous going here based on the mix reviews but was pleasantly surprised by the great food and atmosphere. Will definately return.
Poor customer service and rude – I was excited about trying Incontro as it’s in the neighborhood and Franklin does not have many mid range eateries. The customer service was awful. Our food took way too long to arrive, the wait staff was inattentive and when we asked to speak to the manager he could not have cared less about our concerns and said there was nothing he could do. He was somewhere between rude and indifferent. Very disappointing as the restaurant has a decent décor and feel when you first arrive.
Customer Service – Restaurant is good, However don't ever try to let the owner know of a problem because he doesn't want to hear from his customers. It's to bad because he has lost a good customer that lives across the street. Good Luck improving customer service by ignoring your patrons.
