I was sent here by another provider. When I arrived I explained that I had a medical procedure that morning requiring sedation. When I finally got to the room, Dr.Shin told me that he had patients waiting because he was seeing me. I did not ask to come to Dr Shin and should not be chastised for being concerned about my health and the health of others. Dr Shinn did my left eye cateract surgery. It never felt correct so I went to another doctor who told me I need laser resurfacing performed. Dr Shinn would not listen when I complained to him. I having my right eye done but not by Dr Shinn.
My brother had eye cancer. He did the surgery at 9:00 pm!! Was finished around 11:00 pm! That is way too late to be operating on someone! He came out and told us he got it all. I hugged his neck and told him thank you over and over again. My other brother was with me and he shook his hand and told him thank you several times as well. NOPE! My brother was in severe pain and we went back to him several times only to be told that he wasn't in pain and that he didn't believe in prescribing pain medicine! Dr Shin did my cataract surgery a few years ago. Something wasn't corrected, & I had to go back for additional procedure. My problem with Dr Shin is that I had a reaction to the steroid drops that he prescribed after surgery. When I told him, he exploded! Told me that was impossible & literally SCREAMED at me for several minutes to the point that I was crying. (I'm in my 70s & not a weak person). He could be heard in all exam rooms. Saw Dr Shin instead of my Dr Swan. He rushed through the appointment, seemed irritated and talked down to me. Trimmed sutures in my cornea, and hurt quite a bit, which never happened with Dr Swan.
Dr. Shin is an excellent Ophthalmologist. He has a genuine concern for his patients, he welcomes your questions and explains what and why he will be doing. He is very professional and friendly. I give him 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!
I’ve been going to Dr. Shin many years now. Just love him! Made my eyesight come back after a bad surgery somewhere else. Thank you Dr Shin.
Having Lasik eye surgery was one of the best decision I’ve made to correct my vision. I see better and clearly than I have in a very long time. Thanks to Dr. Shin and his team making me feel very comfortable and secure doing my surgery ????.
Dr Chin performed my LASIK eye surgery. He did a great job explaining everything and patiently answered all my questions both before and after surgery. The support staff was very nice and I liked the fact that during the surgery a lady told me everything that was going on right before or while it was happening.
