I felt the visit was very thorough and my issues was addressed when I left. I was prepared with my medical records and I was able to answer his questions. I do know how busy doctors are I do know that a rheumatology visit can require a lot of questions that need to be answered directly which is why these specialist help guide you through the answering process. Otherwise, they could get stuck with one patient for hours causing a huge back for the remaining patients. I appreciate the time he took with me and I appreciate the t... read more

Avoid this office at all costs. I have never been treated worse by a physician in my life. I called to inquire about changing to another doctor in the practice (bc I am new to TX and desperately need a rheumatologist), and not only would the staff not accommodate my request, they stopped taking my calls. Now it makes sense why I was able to get into Iqbal so quickly - he can’t keep patients. Absolutely terrible experience. He apparently forgot the Hippocratic oath - do no harm. Run from this practicE. When I told his nurse a... read more

Long wait time on both visits. PA did work up at initial consult. She was great. I saw dr for about 60 secs. Sent me for lab work & series of x-rays. Follow-up today. I was shocked by his extremely poor "bedside manner." Initial diagnosis was dismissed which should have made me happy. Instead, I was in tears by the time we were done. He wants more tests & additional labwork. Minimal communication. I apologized that I was hard of hearing & did not catch what he said when his back was to me. He turned & asked (very abruptly) "... read more

Incompetent Dr. who I’ve felt waste patient’s time for money. My primary physician recommended me. However, google has been my guidance throughout this process, considering, most of my questions have been answered from med websites rather than my actual doc’s appts. He doesn’t connect with his patients and i’ve been misled due to lack of information on several occasions. Unresolved symptoms that’d reoccured since taking prescribed medication but informed to stay on meds per Dr. request. After every appt. a lab test is done; ... read more

Dr. Iqbal is very rude and impersomable. I jist recently started attending visits with my dad when he could never explain what Dr. Iqbal did or what he said about his condition. When I inquiring and trying to understand he did seem a bit irritated. My dad had been experiencing problems getting his prescription for weeks. He said they sent it to the pharmacy, the pharmacy said they didn't get it. This went on for 3 weeks. In the meantime my father doesn't have his medicine. I told Dr. Iqbal about it, his my dad can come to th... read more

During my first visit Dr Iqbal ordered blood test and X-rays. I had a consultation with his NP and I spoke with him for 5 minutes maybe. During the initial visit my first impression was he is rude and agitated. I was scheduled for a follow up appointment in 3 weeks. I came back for my results and in 5 minutes he was done. I was just as in the dark as I was during my first visit. I asked a few questions and he was so rude and act as if I was doing him a disservice

At my first visit he did lots of blood work and x-rays and I had to wait 3 weeks for a 5-minute visit where he told me that all results were negative and I probably had fibromyalgia, but I was already taking medications that would treat that. (I developed these symptoms while on those medications.) Handshake and he'll see me again in four months. Thanks for nothing.

Dr Iqbal is one of the worse doctors I have ever seen for my RA. He does not listen to anything or discuss your concerns. He spends very little time with his patients and does not explain anything but will give a pamphlet to read instead. He may be halfway nice one visit and then be so rude the next visit! If you are looking for a caring compassionate doctor, this is NOT the one to see. He will spend maybe 5 minutes with you and charge your insurance over $400.00

He was rather dismissive of my issues and did not spend much time with me or listen very well.
