Dr. Vila is wonderful; a very good listener, asks smart and helpful questions, very comforting, however her office staff is absolutely horrible., the worst! Several are actually rude and disrespectful, they don't give messages to relevant staff and Diana, the intake nurse, lectures & berates patients. She can't even complete basic tasks like taking an accurate blood pressure reading. I really like Dr. Vila but it's not worth the trauma of dealing with her staff to see her. I'll have to find another GP.
Two years ago I switched healthcare networks and needed to find a new primary doctor. I was examined thoroughly by Dr. Vila with careful attention to my pre-existing conditions. Her personal follow-up and consistent, high-level care are not easy to find,
Saturday went to the ER memorial hospita horrible sinus infection and was told that if by tuesday no improvement to call Dr Vila, I did today January 30th because I still feel the same, but they cannot see me until February 6th, SERIOUSLY! This is how you take care of a patient ,I was very disappointed !??
