Worse night out ever!!!!! – The ladies went out for a birthday celebration. The food was good. The service and the waiter was awful. We had 7:00 reservations got there at 6:47 and still weren't seated until after 7:30. Then were rushed during our meal. The waiter kept passing coments "let's hurry up". "are you done yet?". The poor bus boy did all the work which is the only reason we left a tip.The waiter was down right abusive, even followed us out after our meal and harrased us. Do Not Go To This Place!
RUDE SERVICE. – I visited this restaraunt with a group of 11 for a friend's birthday dinner. While the food was delicious and the ambience pleasant, the staff was incredibly rude and unfriendly. come in a good mood – this is not for the very hungry...went with a group of 6 on a saturday night...we had reservations for 9:00 pm, were seated at 10:00 pm; by that time half of the items on the menu were no longer available...we were finally served our food at 11 pm...food was great, but come early, and prepare to have your patience tested! i don't know how our reservations helped at all...
Good, but lacks the basics – Excellent food, but beware in the summertime. They do not have AC/fans or ice for their water. Personal service makes it nice. Food portions are large. They are Cash Only and BYOB, so plan ahead. Bring your own drinks, as they do not have anything besides water. Definitely worth trying.
Benissimo! – I went to Il Cantuccio on a first dinner date, and was blown away by the food and the atmosphere. While the restaurant is small and can feel crowded depending on where you are seated, the small room with exposed kitchen makes dining an experience to remember. RUSH JOB!! – Had 8 in our party. We did not have to worry about making too much noise, since it is a very noisy place. Food was good, but service was so-so and very RUSHED. We were just finishing our espressos, when we were told to get "moving", since they need to "recylce the table. Our bill was $367.00 w/o tip, and we could not even finish our bottles of wine. Would not really recommend!
Positive surprise – Although a bit cramped, noisy and abrupt, this restaurant left me with nothing but positive feelings. I felt as though I had walked into a family's kitchen & was invited to dine with the relatives. The food, from Lasagna to Octopus to Roasted Pepper Gnocchi, has me drooling to return.
Feels like Home – Great Food, Friendly People, Great Atmosphere and Affordable. This place might not look like much from outside, but looks can be deceiving.
ab fab – I go there all the time. I have never been disappointment. as soon as you open the door the aroma will sweep you away. The wait staff make you feel like you are at home. Once you visit once they will not forget your face! Terrific
