Nothing extra ordinary, standard Italian food 🥘
Excellent place to stop on a nice day and have some Pizza and refreshments on the sidewalk after a walk around Washington Harbor and the river. We truely felt lke we were eating at a cafe in Italy.
Third year in a row that my wife and I have driven down to DC around valentine's day to celebrate...first year we stumbled upon Il canale when the restaurant next door lied to us about their special menu and we left and walked in here...third year of an amazing experience with great food and service..and by the way noticed this year that the restaurant next door changed hands (couldn't have happened to a better dump)...if you're in Georgetown you have to go here..
Awesome, highly recommend!! All the food was excellent, the bruschetta, bread, and pizza-reminded us of our time in Naples.

One of the best wood-fired brick oven pizzas in the D.C. Area.
Just had the antipasto plate and the branzino with a bottle of wine. Magnifico!
Great food. Really crowded on a Saturday. But service was up to it!
Pizza was good but the antipasto was a little pricey
