RecommendedLoved my very first visit to IKEA! We used the strategy of going just prior to opening on a Sunday. We waited in a very long line outside, just to get in. Take water with you and some form of sun protection. The line moved very quickly and at the door they checked to make sure we had masks and offered masks to people who didn't. I have been to an IKEA now In the states and it was a big disappointment! They can't do anything about an empty shelf! But they can fix an attitude! First we wanted to shop in the market area, but the register was closed and the bistro gave us an attitude. Then my wife ask a cashier about it who couldn't give as an answer. A different guest went to the bistro and talk to the employee and I have never seen that kind of an attitude! "I don't care!" "You have to get back in line!" "No exception!" Loved it! First time at the actual ikea store. Although it took over an hour to check out and we only got 3 things, the overall experience was amazing. Finally popped my ikea cherry 😂😂

IKEA charged me $200 for delivery plus the cost of my furniture and did NOT deliver my items. I’ve been calling and emailing for a week now and there is no one answering customer service inquiries. I get an automated prompt and then Get hung up on. IKEA has basically stolen my money and has not delivered my goods. I’m really at a loss for how to proceed since I can’t get through to anyone. So upset...
Please be advised! IKEA has extremely long lines outside, lines wrapped around the building. This all in the extreme heat with no shade provided. If you plan on going in the near future please bring water, an umbrella for shade and maybe even a chair. After watching 3 people pass out from the heat , IKEA is it possible that you could use a text or call system instead of having people wait this long outside in a crowded line.
