I am editing this review: a few months after posting the below review I was contacted by the office to reschedule. At that appointment I was treated completely differently. As a patient receiving medical services should be. The doctor was patient, answered my questions and gave the injections in a gentle and professional manner.The staff were professional yet friendly. Great communication & listening my concerns, and highly knowledgeable. Overall great experience with the entire team. Definitely only pain doctor who I would see.
I saw Dr. Balkaya for chronic back pain stemming from my military service. His expertise and great bedside manner were very reassuring and his treatment plan was effective. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience from him or his excellent clinic staff.
Glad to have been treated by Dr. Balkaya and his team. Excellent service from start to finish and they take care of their patients.
Unfortunately, I have not had the same experience as others. I have encountered toxic positivity at this office. The focus is more on getting money and rushing the patient though the systeem rather than patient assistance or advocacy. Unless you are able to pay upfront with no insurance. When I try to advocate for myself, I am greeted with stony silence and soundtrack responses.
