This doctor is extremely disrespectful to the patient. He made me wait for 20 minutes in the tele health a d did not show up. I called the office and waited for 10 minutes for them to tell me the assistant did not reply. Run away from this doctor!
I do not want to give any stars. Arrogant, cruel. I was treated with INCOMPETENCE and lack of care for a patient or compassion. I was his wife's patient, he saw me because I express that the prescription she put me on was changing my personality, I needed a change of medication or dose. He would not listen to me as I express my concern. He told me to wait in the other room, while 2 police officers arrived, grabbed me, hand cuff me and man handle me. Best doctor he made me realize I don’t need medication at all even though it was mandatory I take it for the time being under his care he can be Very scary but very nice at the same time :)
I did not have a good experience with this doctor and his care. I am very disappointed with the psychiatric unit in this hospital allowing this doctor to practice and to gaslight patients.
Dr. Bobes used intimidation tactics, threats, and untrue statements to coerce me (and other patients) to follow a treatment plan that was not right for me. He spent 5 minutes talking to me before writing a prescription (for something I don't have and which was blatantly unnecessary). He then lied to me about my rights as a patient and told me I was legally obligated to take it. When I said that the hospital was not helping me and I wanted to go home, he threatened to keep me there indefinitely.
Typical Psychiatrist: Patient, soft spoken, good listener. Excellent.
