My parents took their dog in with a swollen leg. They took x-rays and decided it was bone cancer so they recommended amputation and wanted to do it the next business day. Something didn’t sit right with them so they called me. I work at a vet hospital in central Oregon so they had all the xrays sent over and none of the doctors here thought it looked like cancer. Dr. Cavender and Staff are AMAZING! I brought my 13yr old chihuahua, William, in for his annual exam and set up for a teeth cleaning. I was worried about putting my dog under anesthesia, due to his age, but the staff & Dr were so helpful and definitely put my mind at ease. I highly recommend Idaho Veterinary Hospital and will be scheduling future appts for the rest of my fur babies!
Dr. Hopwood and all of the techs are very caring and professional. We are new to the area and are grateful we came to this hospital.

I've been a client for quite awhile. All the vets give superior care! The vet techs are great as well. Kudos for their depth of experience and knowledge. I have both large and small animals. I used to go there with my horses before the large animal practice split off. Dr. Calhoun has created a great experience for a small animal clinic. They are always willing to go the extra mile for their clients! I'm very happy and feel secure I will have support when I need them. Absolutely a fantastic team of people!
