The atmosphere has been relaxing for the adults but many activities to keep the kids entertained. Friendly and helpful staff. Very good food. Happy trip for all.
I am sorry to give such a bad review because the property and grounds are truly lovely and beautiful. However, our vacation was ruined from several very bad experiences. From the minute we arrived it was a disappointment compared to other times we have stayed here. I explained all this to management yet nothing was ever done to fix the problems. Always a fun time at Lost Pines! We arrived and stayed on a Sunday into Monday. The wait staff at the pool was very attentive and entertaining both days. The Pina Colava is delicious!! I like the food you can order out at the pool but I'm fairly unimpressed with the food at the restaurants we've had at dinner. Just misses the mark somehow and it's pretty expensive so you want to ensure it meets expectations. The evening events for the kids are great! Smores, games on the lawn and movie under the stars. Unbelievable ratings and comments. We just drove through there yesterday on our way to the little zoo and were so impressed by the grounds, etc. that we were excited to plan a stay. I guess not. Inattentive staff??? Food left in hallways??? Beer cans in pools??? Uh, I don't think so, ESPECIALLY not at the prices you charge to be abused like this. Ridiculous. I hope you comped all these folks a couple days each, OMG.
