Because the two are combined, I had to give it a 3. The Hotel is a 5 and the casino which is actually owned and operated as the Grand Lodge Casino is a 1. Their machines are tighter than the worst Indian casinos. You put money in and "Poof" it's gone. In Reno and Las Vegas, you're money lasts several minutes or more. I went at Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe last weekend for an overnight 1st July 2017. Its a holiday weekend so they are kinda fully book and expecting more guest to check-in as 4th of July Celebration is comin'. They are prepared and well staff from the front desk, restaurant/s, pool and beach area. Since its my first time to visit this hotel, inquiries in my part are expected. We always love spending the 4th here but I have to shout out to the front desk! They were so amazingly sweet and accommodated our 3way room switch fiasco! I just want to thank them publicly! Additionally this hotel is a one stop shop with great food, casino and beautiful private beach!
Awe, to share or keep as your own best secret. Staff is amazing. Maja who I had the pleasure of hosting me at the pool and lake both days was so gracious. The beauty of the location, breathtaking. Activities galore. The spa, people, expertise, better than anything I have long paid for in the SF Bay area. Local cuisine is out there. "Bites" for small plates/Tapas was awesome food. As always we loved our stay! Wish we could have stayed longer. Why we choose Hyatt when we vacation is for the value of amenities and friendly staff! Everyone that works their is always amazing, friendly and accommodating! The beach, bonfire and pool areas are the best! And champagne at check in always a favorite! See you soon ;)
I have never been to a Hotel/Resort where people are so kind and respectful. I don't have one negative thing to say about this place. The employees obviously appreciate where they work. Feeling blessed and appreciated. :)
