My regular dentist referred me to Dr. Huynh for my first gum surgery. I was nervous but Dr. Huynh was so good I had very little pain. I followed his instructions for the recovery and healed very well. That was for my upper teeth. He also performed the same surgery on my lower teeth. The surgery saved my teeth! Ten years later, I had another pocket and had to have gum surgery on that, too. His work lasted all those years. He's funny, very professional and cute. lol I highly recommend him for any periodontal work needed.

Gum disease - and that is why one goes to a periodontist - is never a "relaxing" or "pain-free" prospect. Consequently, it can cause some anxiety. This is why I am so appreciative of Dr. Quang Huynh's expertise and rapport that he has established with me over the years. I can safely say that if it wasn't for his care and attention to my dental challenges, my mouth would be in dire straights. k Good surgeon but non-existent on reminding it's time to be looked at again and education about your condition is extremely minimal. This could be rectified by sending out timely emails to patients reminding them it's time make another appointment and include an attachment reminding them of their condition and what to be aware of. Gum disease can't be detected by the five senses so what we know is strictly what we're told by our dental health pros. So why doesn't Dr. Huynh remind and educate? Follow the money! Dr. Huynh ranked at the top of his class at his dental school. I was going to Dr. Ancel, his predecessor, for many years before Dr. Huynn took over the practice. He did three implants succeessfully. The cost was reasonable. He also did surgery on my gum recently. He has great chair-side manner, and his officed staff are help[ful and friendly. I would recommend him to others without reservation.

This is the first occasion I have needed periodontia. Dr. Huynh (sounds like Winn) came highly recommended. Need gum removal and root surgery on #14 molar. At the time there was a question if the tooth could be saved; had #1 movement at the time. Procedure was efficient, Dr. Huynh is professional and competent, he doesn't rush you in and out, explains the procedure so you can understand it and tell you the options and probabilities straight-up. I have been treated by Dr Huynh since he took over for the late Dr Ivan Ancell, and I have found the service to be at least as positive as it was before. Dr Huyhn performed gum surgery several months ago, and the experience was painless and gentle. The folks in his office are friendly and helpful, from the receptionists to the hygenists to the surgical assistants.

I had gum surgery and they ALL were gentle, helpful from my 1st appointment , surgery,healing, follow up, to payment ! the whole team deserves 5 stars !! and Dr. Huyhn is VERY good, and as far as having gum surgery goes, he has done a remarkable job.
