Love Hunter mountain hate losing my phone in the snow :( I was having so much fun I didn't even care. I just wish they would fix that one larger lift that brings you higher up the mountain to green trails but getting off of it it is so steep I still don't feel comfortable on it. However the real nice part about that is I can shred the orange lift's blue trails now. I've been to other mountains but Hunter is where I always want to be.

Very dangerous overcrowded mountain. They should stop allowing snowboarders. Also, they should expand and add more Blue lines. Also, no more Big Lift discount cards.
We had a fabulous day on the mountain, the conditions were fantastic! The setting was picturesque , the staff was unbelievable from the lessons we took for skiing and snowboarding, the best instructors I've ever experienced in my life. They were so helpful and courteous, and they had a sense of humor. After our morning skiing we went inside, we had a fabulous delicious lunch all home cooked. made with love, delicious comfort food. Drove 2hrs to hunter made 3 runs went inside for a drink and got my snowboard stolen .... no comment new management sucks didn't do anything about it
Hunter was where I learned to snowboard 10 years ago and I've had some of my best memories here. It's super close to NYC and they are great at blowing snow. You can always expect good cover when the temps are low enough. Keep it up Hunter!

We just visited hunter last weekend. As always fun terrain to play with, very well prepared considering how the weather has been so far, but... despite the fact it was overcrowded(which is something I shouldn't be complaining about since it was a weekend), one thing that stroke us was people with no skills literally flying in between and through people learning on green/blue trails. I think there should be someone from staff reminding these suiciders that they put not only their life in danger but also everyone's around them... read more
