I would rather be told that you are not going to bother fixing an issue than to give me 8 different excuses for the same problem 4 months later. It is hard to respect people who keep dragging problems out with excuses. I honestly could fix it myself but that is not part of the lease agreement.

I live in an apartment complex, owned by Hubbard Properties in Montgomery, Al . I have been charged for INSURANCE, on the property when I have renter Insurance a dropped theirs over a year ago. Instead of contacting me to see it was still in force, (An the paper work says the insurance is in effect as long as I pay it.) I have provided them with proof that my insurance was indeed in affect for the month of April 2020. The management still wants to charge me for the insurance they have on the properties. A resident can also participate in a group program advertised through the company with a fee of $** per month. Horrible company & rude slumlords. Weigh other options I wish I had.
Horrible ppl run this business. Do not rent from them they are slumlords that’s don’t care about their tenants or property. I DO NOT recommend.
If I could I would give them zero. They landlord lied. I was told by the assistant that we had until April 20 to pay rent and no late fee would be charged due to the COVID19 pandemic. However, I was given a notice that showed late fees even after I was told there would be no late fee. As a result, I complained to the BBB about Hunters Pointe in Mobile, AL, which is owned by Hubbard Properties, and the landlord further lied. DON'T RENT HUBBARD – do not rent Hubbard. They are slum lords. They have insects , bad insulation, cracked ceilings and walls, stained carpet, loud music, bad managers.
Avoid at all costs – I rented an apartment at Jackson Trace Apartments in Jacksonville, AL during the 2006-2007 school year. These people are slumlords in the worst possible sense of the word. The managers at the time were two very unpleasant, unethical women. Any time I had a problem with the apartment, I was treated as if I had negligently broken something, and repairs were never made in a timely fashion.
