My husband was not feeling well after traveling 1 hr to his job in efffingham. Went to the ER to have them check his vitals -mainly blood pressure. He was told they could not do this and he would have to see his family provider. Having worked in another hospital ER registration department. I could not believe the lack of care and compassion this ER has. It would of took less than 5 minutes and could have meant the difference between life and death, not just his but potentially hundreds(he is an over the road driver) He knew ... read more

I am bleeding from incision and they don't care have me sitting in the wait room bleeding and in pain and the staff is very rude and they don't care about patient's worst place ever

Got us in when regular doctor couldn’t even though we weren’t a regular patient. All of the staff were very friendly. Appreciate that they got us taken care of.

I drove my husband to St. Mary’s from the Mt. Zion movie theater on Aug. 28th. I told the reception nurse I thought he was having a heart attack. The staff was quick to get him into a room and were very efficient yet compassionate. A special thanks to a male nurse named Matt and also to my friend, Michelle Bovyn, RN!
