I paid a lot of money cash for my tax return to be done with false promises I'm still waiting my tax return and I'm always going into the 2022 year so by the time I file my tax return next year I might have not received the one from this year the person the person that did my taxes will not answer the phone the office is closed when I call the headquarters they told me they'll have someone call me back when they call me back they're rude saying that the peace of mind that I paid for and everything else is not covering me not... read more

If I could give zero stars for this I would as the service I got was ZERO. I took my tax docs into *********************** at the H&R Block in ***************** location in ********* on July 30, 2021. After several phone calls with no answer or followup to email I finally made an appt to have ***** call me on Sep 17, 2021. Turns out that after 7 weeks she had not yet even started them. I'VE USED HR BLOCK FOR YEARS. THIS YEAR WILL BE MY LAST. WENT THERE IN JANUARY, DID MY TAXES. WAS REASSURED THAT I DIDN'T NEED ONE MISSING ***. I've come to believe this company is fraudulent. I've used HR Blcok for over a decade and this is the first year I've had a problem with my taxes. I had to file two state taxes and the software told me I didn't make enough to file with the second state, where I moved late in the year. I received a letter from MN stating I needed to file my taxes and that is where this journey begins. I phoned HR block since I used the "DELUXE" edition and they said they could not help beyond sending forms to file manually. The company claims... read more

Worked with H&R in past but at the ****** ** office the **************** *****. Receptionist acts like she has better things to do with her time. You make an appointment and sit around for an additional half hour. Tell them about multi state W2's and how it was done in past and you just get person that talks themselves up, doesn't listen to your input and turns out has NO Clue. So, I started having H&R Block do my taxes again in 2018 after a divorce. On the tax return I had my daughter's education credit and they asked me how many times it had been claimed already as you can only claim it four years. I responded correctly as two (2). Fast forward, 2020 tax return--H&R Block's system at point of filing my return allowed for another education credit--all 4 already used (2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019) and they didn't get my COVID relief monies for my minor daughter who lives with me. My mom filed her 2019 and 2020 taxes through H&R Block. She did not receive her 2nd stimulus check that she was supposed to get. The *** and H&R Block blamed each other, and my mom ended up having to pay roughly $70 to H&R to receive her stimulus check. This was supposed to be money to help people during the pandemic, but they decided to make a small payday out of it. I uploaded all my tax information online, like I did last year. I uploaded everything in February. I kept looking at the site and was told my "Taxes were in process". What happened was the lady that did my taxes last year no longer worked there. So my taxes were sitting there with no one to help get them done. SCAM SCAM SCAM! Do not do your taxes here if you can do them yourself. They made me pay over 400 dollars for my taxes, and it was not even that complicated. Then messed up my taxes and I haven't even gotten it back yet. Tax rep didn't even know what she was doing! Probably messed up more than just that. They can't even give me a chance to get a refund because their system is having "issues". I will NEVER go them again!
