If I could leave negative stars, I would.The *************, ** office did not file our 2020 tax return. Allowing for IRS delays in refunds, way past expected date for returns. We were due $5000 and like normal citizens wanted it in our lifetimes. The *** at that office called back once and was of no help. I contacted their headquarters, and was told to expect a call from their Specialist Unit. No call. Called them back, and made my displeasure clear. I am very disappointed in the way my claim from *** was handled by a tax preparer who prepared my taxes this year.. She is not taking any responsibility in the fact that the *** is charging me close to $1500.00 more in taxes..It has taken me 8 phone calls to even get a response from her..I have been dealing with the secretary who answers the phone..The tax preparer FEELS THAT SHE HAS DONE NOTHING WRONG.. I am extremely unsatisfied with the services that this company has given. I filed my 2020 taxes with H&R Block and paid for the tax pro account. I messaged the overseeing accountant about the unemployment I received to make sure everything was input correctly. He verified it and agreed that it was correct. Fast forward to March 2022, I received a letter of proposed adjustment from the state saying I owe money back from the tax refund that I received.The individual I spoke to with the *** said that the mistake was on H&R Bloc... read more

The people you hire are very incompetent. Three times in one night H&R Block did my tax return wrong. First lady did it wrong, so another lady re-checked and thought it was right. When I went home, I checked it and it was still wrong. Took it back the same night to get it right. Years later 2022, I thought you'd hired better tax preparers, so I tried it again, but you haven't. I am at a loss for words. After paying over $300 to H&R block, I have still not received a response. My tax was filled in Feb 2022, after 3 months I have still not received my refund nor any feedback from H&R block. When I spoke to the agent she said" I should be getting a refund in a few days". This was my second year using H&R Block's online filing product and will never use it again.I spent hours waiting on the phone to speak with someone at H&R Block because I knew the information that their for requested for my 1099R was interpreted incorrectly. After speaking with a couple of people about this issue I was told that they were having software issues and that someone would get back to me when the issue was resolved. Tax preparer took all documentation for a direct deposit for my Federal tax return. It was then processed as a check refund and mailed to an address I no longer live at! Have been in contact with multiple representatives as well as the office manager who claims to have contacted her DM. I filed my taxes on the deadline I was the last person to get mines out the way. At around 11:30pm on 04/18/2022. My tax preparer ************************* had finished he mentioned he was tired several times but I didnt think anything of it. I was checking the status online and did not receive an update. Lost my job due to covid 19.. got covid 19 unemployment.,... HR BLOCK did my taxes... Now am being audited over covid 19 unemployment,... paid for peace of mind services that would take care of audits for *****.... hr block did absolutly nothing about this service and pretty much stole money from me.. its been a nightmare since.... something so simple and a service paid and hr block dont do nothing..... Company is a sham.....also as an investor (not financial advice) be very careful about this company....
