Place smelled bad. Food that we ordered came cold, tasted like it was frozen and was soggy from oil. Returned food, no one apologized, it felt like they were used to getting back the food. Never again.

We had a excellent lunch with great service. This was after our boat tour. This is the third time eating and Howells & Hood when we do our boat tour on the Chicago Architectural Foundation Boat Tour.
Sat on patio and enjoyed a few beers. Our waitress was very pleasant and efficient in her job. I will be back next Chicago visit.
What a true find off Michigan. Nice outdoor atmosphere w good food and service. Comfort food w a bit of flair... Try the Tater Tots
