Staff badly behaved
I’m told that some patients don’t want to know how long it really takes to recover from total knee replacement, or what the recovery can be like. In my case, I wanted to be prepared for whatever might happen. Dr. Homesley and his team were all about the benefits. They did not mention that your leg (not just the knee) can swell to 2-3 times normal size and stay that way for 3-6 months, and the swelling might not go away for up to a year. Dr. Homesley and his team performed a total knee replacement for me and it could not have been a better experience. He and his staff were all responsive, thoughtful and made a difficult experience bearable.
Everything went great, recommend Dr. and staff.

Dr Homesley has an excellent reputation so I made an appt since I needed to have at least 1 knee replaced. A PA showed me the bone on bone x-rays of my knees. Replacement was the only option, we agreed. We discussed a number of traumas to my right knee and I made a vague reference to an infection on a scab after my knee was poorly drained. Caring and spot on with a diagnosis. Also , followed up immediately after I sent a question on the portal
Dr. Homesley replaced both of my knees six months apart. The first one was very challenging because of bone loss from a previous injury. The outcome on both knees was better than I expected. Everyone on his staff is top notch and caring. Thank you for making my life better.
