When you want to take someone special to a special place Houston's is it. The food and service are exceptional. Yesterday we ordered two appetizers, smoked Salmon and grilled artichokes and the tastes were so unique and filling we could have stopped and not ordered entees. Of course we did. My wife got a Cobb salad with seared tuna and I got the same with lightly battered chicken strips. It seems that if you have a party for up to 4 people you can set a reservation, but if you have 5 people who want to celebrate a birthday, they won't let you. The manager explained the reasoning as they don't have many large tables, to which I believe that justifies the need for a reservation even more. Terrible customer service, especially when as a customer I agreed to work around the manager's schedule to even speak with her. Hope you don't have a big party when you go.
