My daughter and I went to this shop from a referral. After spending 2 hours at another shop she found the Dress in less than a hour!! She definitely said yes to this dress!! Although she thought about renting, this classy dress came in at the same amount that it would have cost to rent. We are so glad that Maggie, the owner, took her time and listened to my daughter's ideas. We are so glad that we were referred to Maggie!

I bought my wedding dress from House of Brides & Tuxedos in November , Maggie (the shop owner) has been SO wonderful from day one! As a curvy bride my experience at other more boutique dress shops was very negative. She is master seememstress with a wonderful personality and is really willing to work with you! 10 out of 10!

Maggie was super great and helpful in helping my Maid of Honor and I find our dream dresses at the best price! My Maid of Honor and I had previously tried on our dresses at another bridal store so we already knew what we wanted but that store was charging waaaay too much. We called several bridal stores to see who could offer us the best price and of course Maggie had the best price. We just had to give a deposit and Maggie worked with us to pay the rest until both dresses arrived. I would highly recommend this bridal store!... read more

We walked into this wonderful shop with no appointment looking for a specific dress. Don't underestimate this quant little shop, Maggie was so warm and immediately found the bridesmaid dress we needed to try on, did our measurements, complimented us, and told us her deals. She made it so incredibly easy while making us laugh and smile. She said she'd immediately send in our order and we made an appointment to come in and try those ones on for any alterations thank you Maggie!!! You saved us!!!

This is the place to go to if you are looking for a wedding dress. I went to a bunch of places in Glendale and it was all the same service. Maggie at House of Brides makes the world of difference. I told her I wanted a certain princess type dress and she let me try one on but she ask if she could make a suggestion for a dress she thought would look great on my body and it did!! If you want detailed, quality, personal service at affordable prices, this is the salon for you. I was assisted in finding the perfect dress within my budget that made me look like a million bucks thanks to the owner who did not stop making alterations for me until it was perfect! Everything is explaine up front and every charge is outline in detail. I couldnâ??t be happier with the service here. I highly recommend this salon to any future bride!

Maggie is the best of the best... She fully understood each of my crazy requests and made each change perfectly. If it wasn't completely perfect when I tried it on, she would rip it open and make it perfect right in front of my eyes. She is amazing. No task is too big, no request is too annoying. Her pricing for alterations is a fraction of what you get at a bigger bridal shop, and she does way more work from the inside out than you would get anywhere else. From the moment we walked through the door, Maggie made my daughter (the bride) and I feel instilled with confidence in her ability to locate and tailor the wedding gown of her dreams.
