We love coming here for all sorts of special occasions, including regular Sunday brunch! Beautiful grounds, great atmosphere and friendly staff.
Susan our Tour guide Hostess was the best! Informative story teller. We had an awesome time and plan to do it again. Such rich Louisiana History and a beautiful place to see.. I highly recommend Houmas House Plantation and Garden's..
Have been there many times. The gardens and the house are beautiful and worth a trip. We stopped for lunch at the Cafe Burnside on our way back from NO to Baton Rouge. Excellent!
Absolutely wonderful. The gardens are as top notch as the uniquely furnished interior of the home.
I had read about this place as the place where they filmed, Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte, and wanted to see it while I was in New Orleans. It is a beautifully restored Plantation. Our guide was in period costume and was very entertaining! Even though she was from France, she was more knowledgeable than most native born Americans! The tour of the house was excellent as well as the cafe for lunch.
