I absolutely adore this hotel. I first stayed here 25 years ago. Hotel Villa Convento will always be my go to hotel. I highly recommend suite 401. The views are phenomenal. Warren and the crew are laid back and more than accommodating. Great location. Love! Love! Love! I'll be back soon!

I have wanted to stay at The Hotel Villa Convento for years! It did not disappoint. In a quiet section of the Quarter with fabulous views of the Ursuline Convent, antique furniture, and thoughtful personnel, especially Warren, it has now become the only place I will stay.
We have stayed at the Convento on many trips and love the hotel. The staff is awesome an we love the proximity to Bourbon St and the French Market and all the downtown attractions. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.
Throughly enjoyed our stay... could not have found a more "New Orleans" experience. Staff was warm and friendly, accommodations were modest but exactly what we needed for a long weekend of walking the city and enjoying the Mardi Gras parades. Don't miss Croissant D’Or Patisserie across the street. Can't wait to come back :)
Beautiful old historic hotel! Family owned! Friendly and very comfortable! Loved my room with the balcony!
