We stayed there and loved it. I think you need an official limousine with the hotel logo on the doors. The Jaguar sedan driven by Kim Novak in the movie.
Management is doing a great job with turning an old hotel in a loud neighborhood into a great place to stay for those who want to save money staying in SF. Room was very comfortable and place is clean.
