This place is beautiful and historic. (Malcolm Cowley wrote the classic Under the Volcano here in the 30s.) Nice free wine tasting happy hour to mingle with other guests. Light continental breakfast is free. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Quiet. Staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Near the Normandie/Wilshire subway stop, so park your car and get a day pass to ride. Or use the in-and-out valet service. Great value for location!

Stayed there for 5 nights in September. Hotel very clean and staff was excellent! Located in convenient area -- Metro bus stop right outside door!
Hotel Normandie is my favorite place to stay in Koreatown. It is down the street to all of my favorite restaurants, bars, and clubs. I normally stay in the regular rooms and always enjoyed my stay. This weekend I opted for the Walker Inn King Suite and absolutely loved the room. Large enough to entertain guests and the retro decor is cool. They had a record player in the room and a large selection of vinyl. The service is great and decor of the whole building is why I stay here.
Excellent hotel, clean and personnel very nice and patient.
