I went in a for post-birthday cupcake and was overwhelmed at all the yummy items to choose from! The cupcakes tasted fresh and of highest quality, and they are very generous with icing. I actually went to Sprinkles on my birthday, and would say Hotcakes is better tasting than Sprinkles. I also like that each cupcake at Hotcakes comes in different sizes, so you can get itty-bitty ones if you just want a small bite. Gem of a bakery!
The best part is the service, I have had many custom cakes made day of that hit every measure of excellence. Fantastic, innovative and sweet like it oughta be.
Mediocre at best! Customers survivors is BAD! I ordered a cake 2 weeks in advance, and no one told me there was a huge rush to have a very simple design in by a certain date. So I went in on a Friday to see if they could pipe little dots on the cake, nope! Because no one was in to doctorate the cake on Sunday or Monday. Also also the cake was made Saturday, thus it was very dry! That aside, they had that writing wrong! So apparently "NOONE" knows if my baby was a boy or a girl as apposite to "no one". They made me a gorgeous, tasty, gluten, sugar, and dairy-free red velvet wedding cake that was EXACTLY what I wanted. 'Nuff said. Highly recommend.
I scoured Culver City area for a cake for my son's birthday. Finally, I saw this bakery out of the corner of my eye, I went inside and saw exactly what I was looking for, beautiful cupcakes, interesting flavors, and cake!! We had the spicy mango tree leeches cupcakes, and a cake of cookies and cream. Everyone loved them! The shop is small, but the baked goods were very good quality.
Always satisfied with everything I've purchase! Cupcakes are amAzing! Tres leches! Yum, yum, yum!!!
