My husbands life was saved at Penn Hospital Clifton Center Nov. 2025. He was diagnosed with a rare condition, received 5 plasma exchanges and countless other tests. He is home now and making remarkable progress! I can’t say enough about the higher level of care he received. Thank you, thank you.
For over a decade, my husband has been a patient for leukemia & subsequent bone marrow transplant. HUP is world class care! I am convinced that without HUP & his doctors, he would not be here to praise their excellent care!!
I had hip replacement surgery with the exceptional Dr. Cara Cipriano at this hospital 9/2025 and the building is so beautiful you feel more relaxed just walking in. Staff are friendly and helpful, all healthcare members nurses, anesthisia, the transport team, etc. made me feel well cared for. Parking was easy and the photo below is me (center) outside the hospital getting ready to check in at 6:15am. This is the 4 Seasons of Hospitals!
I was scheduled for surgery here at The Pavilion and it was the worst experience in all my years of dealing with Penn Medicine. (1) Surgery was scheduled for 12:20pm. Arrived at the waiting area by 11am. Still sitting there at 1:00pm. A nurse liaison finally came around to check on the people there. (2) Turns out the patient before me was in overtime with his surgery. I had to wait until he/she was done and the room was ready for my surgery. (3) Finally left the OR in the evening.
