Words can not express what we feel for Hospice & Community care, Thank you to the nurses that helped make my mom comfortable for her time here on earth. My mom really enjoyed the laughing and humor she had with them. They were not just nurses to us, They were part of our family. I want to personally Thank Rose & Ayesha! "Five + Stars!!!" This is a beautiful/clean/warm/well cared for (and well cared about) plush home-like-setting-facility located in lovely Mt. Joy, PA. They also provide in-home Hospice care as well (servicing/caring for patients whom reside in nursing home facilitiesl.) They have special programs/therapy which is also offered to the community, and to family members. I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. You made my grandfather's final week as comfortable as it possibly could be. The nurses that you have on staff are definitely a special group of people that have huge hearts. Thank you.
You made the final weeks of my Mother's life so much more comfortable for her and a little easier for both me and My father in 2002 when she died from cancer. In 2010, after I lost my Dad you came through again in helping me cope with his unexpected death. Your organization makes the most hardest times in life easier for the survivors.
Over my years of involvement with Hospice and Community Care I've heard countless stories through friends of how they have helped many patients and their families through the difficult experience of loosing a loved one. Having a business background, I feel it also speaks volumes that they are a true "non-profit" organization verses other "for profit" hospices in the area. Truly an excellent organization!
My experience with Hospice and Community Care, 15 years ago when you cared for my grandfather, was great. But, it was quite the opposite experience this time around in May-June 2014.
