Hose Company No. 6, is an establishment which accommodates people with an affection for great food and libation. A landmark built in 1895 as a fire station that housed firemen, horses and the now obsolete hose wagons. In 1975 Donald Wilks converted the deteriorating old fire station into a restaurant. This restaurant emailed me a coupon using consent contact. When I visited to use it I was informed that unless you print the coupon they will not honor it. This was not stated any where on the coupon or in the email. As a user of the constant contact software myself. The restaurant is able to see which recipients of their email open them and even who clicks on the coupon !!! Hose Company #6 was a fire station when I was a kid. Became the Hose Company #6 after I left R.I. Ate there a few times, best thing I remember having was the bucket of clams. Gonna miss it!
Awesome food and drink and the best bartender around
We went there for the steamer special that was posted on the sign. Go in , no steamers. Ordered a steak with Charisse on it, waitress acted like she didn't know it was suppose to be on it. I asked her for a box for my veggies, she threw away my food. I usually go every week. She recognized us even. Food wasn't as good as usual , I will go elsewhere to eat the food they say is on the menu.
