be careful driving. They dont have barriers on the winding roads that could easily have you fall to your death...its a 2000 ft drop off....
Trail Ridge Road, which runs through the park, is the highest paved through-road in the US.
The hike to mcgregor mountains backcountry site is really about 6 strenuous miles uphill! Its totally worth it though!

Drive the Old Fall River road up to the Alpine Nature Center for a slower paced trip up to 12000+ feet.
Tent camping in Longs Peak Campground is great. Bill the camp host makes you feel at home!
This park is located off I-25 & 34 or 36 going west. In estes park.
Get up for the sunrise drive through the park. Beautiful scenery & lots of wildlife you won't see during the daytime
