Looking to add a little off-road adventure to your visit? Take a drive up Old Fall River Road to the Alpine Visitors Center. You need 4WD/AWD, but it's well worth the fun drive and great views.
Be sure to drive up Trail Ridge Road and stop at the Alpine Visitors Center to learn about the Park's flora and fauna. Sunrise and Sunset are great times to catch the view from the top.
During autumn the elk in the Park put on a show for their fall rut. Late September is when the bugling activity peaks, plus you'll catch the changing colors of the Aspen trees.
