We were on holiday here in a group of 6, one of the party has just come back from a tour in Iraq with the British Army. To be told that military discount was available, was great. And we decided to venture in and have food and some drinks here. I have always loved going to hooters. So I urged the rest of the group to try it out. Food was nice, but came out with 10 minute gaps between people. Which wasn’t great, and then to be told that because it’s British Military the discount wouldn’t be accepted. Our liquor ID policy is either a US State ID or any International Passport. The manager didn't understand or realize that you were talking about a military discount (vs. simply age verification) as he would have honored this request. I'm terribly sorry about this misunderstanding. We do appreciate our service members, in the US and abroad. Please accept our apologies.
