Very glad I was able to go to Honest John's on my first trip to Detroit. If you get a chance, get something with their ghost pepper barbecue sauce!

Very disappointed in my visit today. First time I've been to this restaurant. Waited over a half hour to get our food. Finally had to ask for it go because of how long it took. Got home and realized the breakfast burrito that was ordered minus eggs plus black beans was made incorrectly and had eggs on it. What if I was allergic? Or Vegan? So, we waited a half hour for food that we had to take home and didn't get to enjoy while it was hot then didn't get to eat because it was made incorrectly. We will not be back.

Another great night at Honest ? John's. The bar staff was friendly with great service. We stopped in to watch the Michigan v. Oregon basketball game so we ordered the 2 pounder of wings (BBO and Ghost Pepper split), Tater Tots and Fish and Chips. Everything was delicious and served fresh and hot. The game was a disappointment, but never the experience and the food. I love Honest ? John's!

Look, the food was pretty good, but the atmosphere is rough, the bathrooms are graffitied which is fine. Can't do any "beauty" checks though! I've got to come again and try some Fruity Pebnles French Toast!
