I was driving down Interstate 35 when suddenly my Honda just started loosing power. I limped 30 miles to Ames and went direct to this Honda Dealership. Of course I had no appointment but they took me in right away. They diagnosed the problem, talked it over with US Honda repair technicians, and reviewed with me on how to proceed. I was able to drive home that evening with everything working just fine and it has continued to do so. I am so appreciative of everything they did for me.
Horrible experience! Picked out 2 used cars online we wanted to test drive on a Saturday. Had an appt for 1 to do so. Made us complete an hours worth of paperwork to even test drive the cars including needing our social security numbers even though we would be paying cash for one of the cars and using our credit union for financing on the other. I Went to look at a car I found on “Honda of Ames” website. I found a Honda accord that I liked and went to test drive it. However when I showed up and he brought the car around for us to look at it the car looked completely different than what the pictures online showed. Update 3-4-25 I brought the car to have it check out, sadly they were not able to find the cause. They have referred me to a another mechanic. Thank you for taking the time. It does mean something. Update 2-21-25 We have talked with each other and he apologized and told me it should have been handled better. That was enough to me. He told he will let me know how to make this up to me.
