I cannot say enough good things about the Homewood Suites on the South Side. From the moment I walked in, the hotel was impeccably clean and smelled amazing. I felt completely safe and comfortable throughout my entire stay. The real standout, however, is the staff. My first one star review on Google is going to this hotel with the worst service I have ever experienced. My daughter and I stayed here on 3/31 after a long trip when we were too tired to make it all the way home and so looking forward to a good night's sleep in comfy beds. I booked through my company's portal as I was returning from a business trip. Around midnight, the fire alarm went off. We evacuated and the building was checked, all good.
